Calling all Grandparents!! You are invited to our "Gathering of the Grands" on September 5, 2025. This event will start at 9:00 am in our gymnasium. If you have not already, please RSVP by Thursday, September 4th. Please fill in your student's name, their homeroom teacher's name, the number of grandparents attending, and any special allergies your "grand" might have. Please don't forget to sign the form. CBMSA Hosts I-Ready Pep Rally and Celebrates Student Achievements

Carvers Bay Middle STEAM Academy recently held an I-Ready Pep Rally to motivate students as they begin I-Ready testing this week. The event highlighted both school spirit and student success.

Carvers Bay Middle STEAM Academy Earns National “Healthiest Schools” Award for Second Consecutive Year

For the second year in a row, Carvers Bay Middle STEAM Academy has been recognized as one of the Healthiest Schools in the nation by the Alliance for a Healthier Generation. This prestigious honor celebrates schools that go above and beyond in creating a culture of wellness for both students and staff.

Healthy Learners is a non-profit organization that partners with school nurses and local medical providers to offer access to health care to children who are in need and without resources. Cost for health care services, transportation, and follow-up are paid for by Healthy Learners. All referrals to Healthy Learners are facilitated directly by GCSD school nurses. 🎉✨ Congratulations to our Spelling Bee winners! Their dedication and hard work exemplified the spirit of perseverance and excellence. A special acknowledgment goes to Chloe Sheppard (1st) and Raquan Knowlin (2nd) place winners, who stood out among many talented participants.

Our 4H students are gaining hands-on experience in sustainable gardening! Last week, they harvested fresh cabbage and collards from our late fall/winter garden, fostering their connection to agriculture and healthy eating. 🥬❤️

Coat Drive In partnership with Wal-Mart, SCDNR, and Georgetown City Fire Department, we will be assisting with a Winter Coat Drive on Sunday, December 15, 2024. All sizes of coats are welcomed! Coats will be donated to Georgetown County residents in need.
