CLASS OF 2026: Jostens will be at GHS on Thursday, March 26 from 9:15 -11 a.m. to distribute Senior Supplies ordered from them. You will be called to the Auditorium that morning alphabetically. If you have not purchased your cap/gown, they will have a few to purchase that day, but it is CASH only. It is the same price as online - $92.

All juniors (3rd year students) must take the WIN Test/Essential Soft Skills Test beginning March 23. Scoring a 3 on all three parts of WIN (math, reading, and data) will make you Career Ready which will allow you to have early release or late arrival next year as a senior.

Students are dismissed at 1:15 on Wednesday, March 11 for Staff Professional Development. Students with late arrival and early dismissal, pay attention to the time changes.
Congratulations to all GHS students who participated in the 45th Annual Coastal Carolina Mathematics Competition. And a huge congratulations to our students who placed. Jordan Reed scored the third highest out of all students in the Level One, Division II competition and Nathan Benton scored the second highest out of all the student in the Level Two, Division II competition.

We would like to congratulate our Navy JROTC Marksmanship Team for an incredible achievement. For the first time in our 39-year history, they have qualified for the Navy National Marksmanship Championship!
Out of more than 600 NJROTC high schools worldwide, only 18 teams were invited to compete in the first round of Navy Nationals. This prestigious competition will be held in Columbia, Missouri, this February.

The GHS Student Council will be collecting Toys for Tots donations this year. Get into the Christmas Spirit & bring joy to our children in Georgetown. Please bring donations of new, unwrapped toys to Ms. Blount or Mr. Sweeney by December 15th. Hundreds of children in Georgetown are at risk of receiving no gifts this Christmas.
