RETURNING STUDENT REGISTRATION PARENT ASSISTANCE as well as REPORT CARD PICKUP will take place on Monday, June 10 from 1-5 pm and Tuesday, June 11 from 8-11 am. The GHS Tri-M program is selling Bojangles Biscuits on Wednesday morning (February 28) in the Student Center starting at 7:30am.
ACADEMIC SUPPORT DAYS taking place on February 22 (8:30-11:30) and February 23 (8:30-11:30). Students may use this time to work on current classroom assessments and to make up seat time requirements for credit-bearing courses.
ELEARNING DAY, FEB. 20, 2024:
As was previously announced, Georgetown County School District will have an eLearning Day on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. This will serve as the make-up day for January 9 when all schools and offices were closed for inclement weather.
Because February 20 will be an eLearning Day, teachers and students will not physically report to school. Instruction will be provided asynchronously using paper packets or assignments posted in Google Classroom. All schools will communicate specific instructions for eLearning requirements and expectations to students and parents, including any changes to office hours for teachers. Additionally, paper packets for Pre-K - 2nd grade students will be sent home and Google Classroom assignments for 3rd - 12th grade students will be posted by February 16.
In order for a student to be marked present for the eLearning day, all assignments must be completed and turned in by Wednesday, February 28, 2024.
