SEAT TIME Announcement! GHS is offering an Attendance Make Up Session this Saturday, March 9th from 9am- 12pm. Transportation is not provided. Students need to bring their Chromebooks and complete class work to recover seat time.
The GHS Tri-M program is selling Bojangles Biscuits on Wednesday morning (February 28) in the Student Center starting at 7:30am.
ACADEMIC SUPPORT DAYS taking place on February 22 (8:30-11:30) and February 23 (8:30-11:30). Students may use this time to work on current classroom assessments and to make up seat time requirements for credit-bearing courses.
ELEARNING DAY, FEB. 20, 2024:
As was previously announced, Georgetown County School District will have an eLearning Day on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. This will serve as the make-up day for January 9 when all schools and offices were closed for inclement weather.
Because February 20 will be an eLearning Day, teachers and students will not physically report to school. Instruction will be provided asynchronously using paper packets or assignments posted in Google Classroom. All schools will communicate specific instructions for eLearning requirements and expectations to students and parents, including any changes to office hours for teachers. Additionally, paper packets for Pre-K - 2nd grade students will be sent home and Google Classroom assignments for 3rd - 12th grade students will be posted by February 16.
In order for a student to be marked present for the eLearning day, all assignments must be completed and turned in by Wednesday, February 28, 2024.

The GHS Girls Basketball program is selling Bojangles Biscuit on Wednesday morning (January 31) in the Student Center starting at 7:30am.
PAWS will be at GHS on Tuesday and Wednesday in the Student Center during lunch selling tickets for Chick Fil A sandwiches ($7) for Friday. All sandwiches must be pre-purchased as extras will not be ordered. They take cash, PayPal, or CashApp.

FINAL EXAMS SCHEDULE:
Tuesday, 12/19 – full day schedule – Students will attend 1st (8:30 – 10:00) and 2nd block class(10:05 – 11:35) during the regular times. The 3rd block exam will be given during regular 3rd block (12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.) and 4th block exam will be given during regular 4th block (2:05 -3:35 p.m.) ......
Wed., 12/20 – full day schedule – Students will take their 1st block exam from 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. and take 2nd block exam from 10:05 – 11:35 a.m. Third and fourth blocks will be held at regular schedule times for students who are present during those blocks. ......
