Field Day 2026 was definitely one for the books… but let’s be honest, we didn’t look at not ONE book today 😂☀️🏃🏾‍♂️🏐🎉

Thank you to everyone who volunteered to help make today a success and shout out to our amazing staff for always stepping in wherever needed. That’s what makes us the BIG BLUE engine 💙⚙️🐾

Congratulations to our Special Abilities Department on a very successful Promotion/Graduation Ceremony on yesterday! What an amazing celebration of growth, achievement, and love for our students.

Huge shout-out to Ms. Young, Mrs. Bruce, and the entire staff for all that they do each and every day. Your dedication, patience, and support do not go unnoticed. 💙

Special thanks as well to our Student Assistants for helping support our Special Abilities students and making the ceremony even more special. Everyone did an AMAZING job!

Today, our Bulldogs finally got to hit rewind and relive some of their favorite memories from this school year because our 2026 Yearbooks came hot off the press! Ms. Weissmeier and the Yearbook Staff did a FABULOUS job on the yearbook, and it was amazing to see our Bulldogs' faces when they got their yearbooks! If your student was unable to collect their yearbook today, don't worry, we got them!

If you are seeing this post and are upset you missed out, act fast! We have some limited copies left of our yearbook. Yearbooks are $50, and you can only pay at the school.

💙✈️ BIG BLUE TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK 2026 RECAP ✈️💙

We hope all of our AMAZING GMS teachers at BIG BLUE enjoyed our week of “Preparing to TRAVEL” 🌎🧳💙

🍳 Monday morning, Mr. Branham and Mrs. Simmons helped get everyone fueled up with a wonderful breakfast to start the journey!

🧢 Tuesday, teachers had the opportunity to design their very own custom trucker hats and show a little personality and style.

🔌 Wednesday, everyone received chargers to help keep those devices powered up because we all know at BIG BLUE the batteries have been working overtime 😂

🌧️ Thursday, the car wash literally got washed out because of the rain, but we made a quick detour and turned Friday’s Hydration Station into Thursday Hydration instead 🥤💦

🌭 Friday, we wrapped it all up with a “Hot Dog, Hot Dog, Hot Diggy Dog” celebration… and NO, not the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse version 😂 Nachos, hotdogs, chips, and drinks helped us end the week on a dog gone good note! 🐶🌭

Thank you to all of our teachers for the love, dedication, patience, and hard work you pour into our students every single day. BIG BLUE appreciates YOU more than words can express! 💙🐾 #BIGBLUE #TeacherAppreciationWeek #BulldogFamily

🎶💙 WHAT A NIGHT AT BIG BLUE on April 30th ! 💙🎶

Our End-of-Year Chorus and Band Concerts were truly a success! From the beautiful voices in the auditorium to the outstanding performances in the gym, our students showed their talent, dedication, and hard work all night long. 🎤🎺👏🏽

Thank you to our parents, loved ones, staff, and community members who came out to support our Bulldogs. Your encouragement means everything to our students. 💙
