Attached you will find the letter to be sent out to parents regarding attendance for High School Credit courses. Please note that this letter only applies to students currently enrolled in the following High School Credit courses: • Algebra 1 Honors • English 1 Honors • Fundamentals of Computing This is a reminder as this information was initially communicated at the beginning of the school year. Additionally, we want to inform parents that any students who have exceeded 10 absences will be contacted directly by school administration. Seat time recovery dates will be shared shortly for those students. Please be advised that there will be a fee of $10 for each seat time recovery session. Dear GMS Parents, GMS school dance is being organized with clear instructions for both drop-off and pickup, ensuring safety and a smooth experience for everyone. Here's a summary of the key points: • Dance Time: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM • Drop-off: All students will be dropped off at the gymnasium lobby. • Pickup: o Parents should be in the pickup line by 7:45 PM. o 7th and 8th grade students: Pick up at the gymnasium lobby. o 6th grade students: Pick up at the playground on the backside of the gym. • Identification: o Parents will receive a window placard with their child's number upon arrival. o Students will receive a wristband with a matching number. • Bags: Only clutch or clear bags are allowed. • Security: GMS will use open gate metal detectors. • Cell Phones: Allowed, though all other school rules apply.
