ServSafe Certification Program Celebrates Successful First Session
Georgetown County Adult Education recently partnered with the district’s Food Services Department to offer a Workplace Literacy Program that provides cafeteria employees the opportunity to earn the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification.
The first class, which included 12 hours of instruction, was held from March 3 to March 10, and 14 participants successfully earned their certification. The district, along with Georgetown County Adult Education, are proud to celebrate this accomplishment and the commitment of employees to strengthening their food safety knowledge and skills.
Due to the success of the first session, another class is scheduled to begin on March 17, 2026, with 16 participants expected to attend.
