Our KES Koalas loved duct taping Dr. Cobb and Mr. Cook to the wall today! The hallway was filled with laughter and excitement. Thank you to our Fundraising Committee for organizing this event.

Our KES Staff went on an excursion together after-school for some great Team Building Time! Teachers were divided into groups and given a specific theme, along with a $20 Gift Card to Wal-Mart. Each team was challenged to purchase items connected to their assigned theme to create a gift basket once they returned to school. Teams had to ride to Wal-Mart together and spend as close to $20 without going over that amount. Gift Baskets will be used in the future for staff incentives. Who knew that going to Wal-Mart could be so fun?

Thank you to the anonymous donor who donated to the KES Special Abilities Department to support this year's field trips. You are appreciated! 🐨🐨🐨

Today, KES remembered 9/11. We began our day honoring 9/11 during our Morning Announcements and listened to Lee Greenwood's song, "God Bless the USA". Throughout the day teachers took classes to the front of the school so that each student could place a flag along the front of the school in remembrance of 9/11. 🇺🇸

We held our monthly Community Day Meeting this morning, held by our Koala Ambassadors. Students learned about what it means to have Integrity. Students of the Month were also recognized.

We are loving our new tables in our Koala Café! They look great!

We loved having members of the GHS Varsity Football Team helping with morning drop-off this morning. They even stopped by our Kindergarten classes to read to them. Our Koalas are rooting for the Bulldogs as they play their first home game of the season!
