Today she finished second in Heat 3 of the Women's 100m Dash and has advanced to the Semi-Finals. Please be sure to wear your Red, White, and Blue again on August 7th to show your support once more as Melissa Jefferson races again for the Women's 4x100 Relay on August 8th and 9th.

We held our very first assembly of the school year this morning. Dr. Cobb spoke to the students about Essential Expectations. They reviewed our school's 3 R's (Responsible, Respectful, and Ready to Learn) and we learned how to Look, Listen, and Learn. We also had fun practicing "when the hand goes up, the mouth goes shut." Everyone did a great job of being attentive to Dr. Cobb.
