Want to help your rising 4K or 5K student feel more confident and prepared for school on August 1st?
GCSD is hosting "Shoot for the Stars" on Saturday, July 20 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the J B Beck Administration & Education Center. The event is open to all rising 4K and 5K students and will include learning and activity stations, school basics, a school bus visit, and much more.
Space is limited and registration is required. Email fcohens@gcsd.k12.sc.us to sign up to attend - include your name, your child's name, and the number of attendees in the email.

Registration is required for all students – new and returning. It is a web-based process completed online through Parent Portal (https://gcsd.powerschool.com/public) and cannot be completed through the Parent Portal App. Need help registering your student for the 24-25 school year? We'd like to give a BIG Shout Out to Aria Frost in 4th grade for bringing in this LARGE collection of can tabs for the Ronald McDonald House in Charleston! A few of our younger classes recently presented "A Happy, Healthy Me!", a mini musical from Quaver Music. All performances took place in the music room complete with a backdrop, lights, props, and a live audience of faculty and staff.
