Dear Bulldog Family,

It is hard to believe that our 8th graders will be moving on to high school in a few months. We would like to honor our students with a series of events to prepare for this momentous occasion.

If your student has not completed an IGP Conference, please contact Mr. Nicklaus Cox at the school.

Our Eighth-Grade Promotion Ceremony will occur on Thursday, May 28, 2026, in the GMS Gymnasium. Students with last names beginning with A-J will have a ceremony at 9:00 a.m., and students with last names starting with K-Z will have a ceremony at 10:30 a.m. Only students who have passed all four content area classes (English, Math, Social Studies, and Science) will be allowed to participate.

As we celebrate this momentous occasion, please adhere to the following guidelines:
• This is a ticketed event (4 per student). Any person older than 3 years old must have a ticket to be admitted.
• Students will receive 2 additional tickets on Wednesday, May 27, during rehearsal. Students must attend practice to receive extra tickets.
• Appropriate dress (business casual) is recommended for students and guests. There is no color scheme recommendation for this event.
We are so excited to mark this milestone in our students' continuous journey of success. We appreciate your support and look forward to honoring our eighth-grade students with you.

Thank you,

Seth C. Hillman
Principal
