First Block class lists will be posted by the bus ramp, Block A, and near the cafeteria to help you find your classroom. 📝 You will receive your new schedule in First Block and should follow that schedule for the remainder of the school day. ⏰ Students with PACE classes or Late Arrival: Please arrive before your first scheduled class so you have time to pick up your new schedule from the School Counseling Department. 📣 Arrival & Dismissal Procedures 📣 As we prepare to welcome our students back on Monday, please take a moment to review our updated Arrival & Dismissal procedures. Following these guidelines will help us provide a safe and efficient start and end to each school day. 🚗 Student Drivers & Car Riders • Morning Arrival: Enter through the ROTC Hallway and Band Hallway. • Afternoon Dismissal: Exit through the ROTC Hallway and Band Hallway. 🚌 Bus Riders • Morning Arrival: Enter through the Bus Ramp/Gymnasium. • Afternoon Dismissal: Students will be dismissed from the Bus Ramp/Gymnasium. ⏰ Important Times • Doors Open for Student Drop-Off: 7:30 AM • First Bell: 8:20 AM • Dismissal Bell: 3:30 PM 🚫 Reminder: There will be no sign-outs after 3:00 PM. Please review the map and help us by following the designated traffic flow. Your patience and cooperation will help keep our students, staff, and families safe. Families are encouraged to complete registration to avoid delays with class placement, course scheduling, and transportation assignments. Registration is completed online through the Parent Portal using a web browser at https://gcsd.powerschool.com. Please note that registration cannot be completed through the Parent Portal app. Required documentation includes: • One current proof of residency Families may upload documents during the online registration process or submit copies directly to their student’s school.
