Today, our JAG students welcomed Mr. Trevor Cropp, an Andrews native and manager of First Citizens Bank here in Andrews, as a guest speaker. Mr. Cropp and the class discussed credit, real-life money situations, how banks operate, and valuable financial advice for high school students. Students learned how the financial decisions they make today can affect their future. This experience also encouraged them to begin developing responsible money-management habits. Thank you, Mr. Cropp, for sharing your time, knowledge, and experience with our students!

Our Forensics students got hands-on today as they practiced the proper techniques for collecting and recording fingerprints! Students worked together to carefully roll each finger and create clear, usable prints.
A special thank you to Officer Creson for visiting our class and demonstrating the proper fingerprinting techniques for our students. We appreciate you helping our future forensic scientists connect classroom learning to real-world forensic investigations! 👮♂️🧪🔬

🍎Our Teacher Cadets Are Stepping Into the Classroom! 🍎
Our Teacher Cadets have officially begun their journey from students to future educators! 💚📚
Over the past few weeks, our Cadets have been learning teaching strategies, like the Wagon Wheel method and had the opportunity to visit Andrews Elementary School and Rosemary Middle School, where they have been observing classrooms, learning from experienced educators, and seeing firsthand what teaching looks like at different grade levels.
And this is just the beginning! Soon, our Teacher Cadets will begin their Field Experience, where they will be paired with cooperating teachers and spend time in classrooms gaining authentic, hands-on experience. They’ll move beyond observation as they begin assisting students, supporting instruction, and putting the strategies they have learned in Teacher Cadet into practice. ✏️🍏
We were also excited to welcome a special guest from Coastal Carolina University (CCU) to speak with our Cadets about CCU’s teaching program and the opportunities available to them as they consider taking the next step toward becoming educators. 🎓💚
We are so excited to watch these future educators grow as they begin their Field Experience! 🍎
