Here are a few graduation reminders:
🎓The Gate will open from 6:00pm-7:00pm for those with a ticket ONLY!
🎓If you do not have a ticket, you may enter from 7:00pm-7:30pm.
🎓The gate will close promptly at 7:30pm and will not open again until after the ceremony.
🎓Please read over all of the graduation rules that are posted as they will each be enforced.

A special congratulations to Kaylee Wilson for being selected to attend the Governor's School for Dance Residential High School in Greenville, SC. next year. Your recent achievement is a glowing testament to your unyielding spirit and relentless hard work. Andrews High School will truly miss you!

The final two opportunities for seat time will be Thursday May 23rd from 3:30-5:30 and Saturday May 25th from 8:30-12:30. There will not be seat time offered during the week of May 27th, the final week of school.

The Georgetown County School District Board of Trustees has retained the South Carolina School Boards Association (SCSBA) to assist in their search for a new Superintendent.
In a collaborative and community-minded spirit the Board of Trustees is seeking input as an essential element of the search process. There are two ways parents and members of the community can participate:
First, an online survey will be available on the District’s website from June 1 through June 30.
Second, meet in person with members from SCSBA. The SCSBA search team will lead meetings on June 11 and June 12 (schedule follows). During each hour long meeting, the team will provide a brief overview of the search process and gather input on the following:
What characteristics, experiences, and professional attributes should the Georgetown County School District Board of Trustees look for in the recruitment, screening, and selection process for the next Superintendent of Schools?
The in-person meetings are scheduled as follows:
June 11: Andrews High School and Georgetown High School (Public and Media)
June 12: Carvers Bay Early College and Career High School and Waccamaw High School (Public and Media)
June 11 and 12, 2024 - School Auditorium, 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Anyone wishing to provide any additional comments or ask specific questions may email Judy LeGrand, SCSBA Superintendent Search Coordinator, at jlegrand@scsba.org. All comments and suggestions will remain anonymous. SCSBA will compile the information received from the online survey and the focus groups and report the results to the Board of Trustees.

Today, we begin the countdown to Graduation 2024!! First, we would love to recognize this year’s Junior Marshals. Junior Marshals are the 10 students in the Junior class with the highest GPA. We are super proud of all their hardwork!!
Come out and support our Seniors on May 23rd at 4:30pm as they parade down Main St for their Senior Parade!!
We would love to see Main St lined with everyone cheering on our Seniors and for all of the businesses to decorate their windows for the Class of 2024🎓
Our Spring Sports Awards will be held on Monday May 20th at 7:00pm.
