In honor of Black History Month, we would like to invite you all to join us for our Painting Pictures Voyage which will take place on Tuesday, February 25th at 5:00 PM. On display will be the artwork created by the hardworking students at Andrews High School. On Friday, February 28th at 10:45 AM you are invited to the Black History Assembly that will be led by our students. Our speaker for the assembly will be Mr. James L. Pasley, Jr. Executive Director and CEO for Waccamaw EOC, Inc. He is also the CEO of Pasley and Associates. If you'd like to join the Trail Ride Dance, please bring your cowboy boots and fan if you have them. Participation is not contingent upon this.

LifeTouch will be back on campus on Friday, March 14th to take cap and gown photos. If your student is interested in having their cap and gown photo taken, you or your student MUST reserve a time using the link or QR code on the attached flyers. Your student will not be able to have their cap and gown photo taken if they do not reserve a time.
It is FREE to have your student's cap and gown photo taken. The only cost to you will be if you choose to purchase the photos. See the attached flyers for steps to purchase your student's cap and gown photos.

AHS had 11 students attend All County this week (Feb 10-11th). They worked with Dr. Charlie Toomer, Director of Choirs at Claflin University. 5 of our students were featured in small groups during the program.
Students attending were Owen Davis, Javier Hernandez-Gonzalez, Charlie Powell, Elliott Vargas, Kiera Lee, Kaleigh Moore, Kinorie Seward, Hannah Edwards, Bre'Asiah Rutledge-Wilson, Abbie Woodard, and Elli Byrdic.

Attention parents!!! It’s time to pick your students classes for next year! Please use the link on the flyer to schedule your student’s IGP with their designated counselor. Meetings started on February 10th! Students and parent/guardian are required to attend.


Interested in taking college courses while still in high school? You and your parents are invited to attend an informational session on the PACE Dual Enrollment and Tech Scholar programs offered by Horry Georgetown Tech. This event will be held March 13th at 11am in our Auditorium. Two representatives from HGTC will be here to share how students could earn both high school and college credits and answer questions. Has your student ever considered taking an AP Course? If they are interested in taking an Advance Placement course with the potential to earn college credit, please plan on attending the Chat & Chew Event on Tuesday, February 25th, during HIVE Time! They will have the opportunity to talk with current AP students, get questions answered, and discuss important information regarding the classes we offer at Andrews High. This is a great opportunity to see what is available, and help plan out courses for their IGP meetings!
