His leadership, passion, and commitment to our student-athletes have left a lasting legacy, and we are incredibly grateful for all he has done for our school and community. Ms. Rogers’ English 3 Honors class brought The Crucible to life last week with an exciting and thought-provoking mock trial! Students put Elizabeth Proctor on trial for witchcraft, using their argumentative writing and public speaking skills to make compelling cases for her innocence or guilt. Roles included defense attorneys, prosecutors, witnesses, the defendant herself, and a jury tasked with delivering the verdict. It was an engaging way to explore the themes of justice, hysteria, and morality—while sharpening real-world communication skills. Great job to all the students for their hard work and creativity! 🎓It's Graduation Week🎓 Information concerning graduation is below. Please read carefully! Safety and security remain the District’s top priority. Please be aware of the following safety protocols and procedures: * Metal detectors and/or Open Gates will be used. Law enforcement and safety officials will be present. * Clear Bag Procedures will be enforced. Small clutch bags no larger than 4.5” x 6.5” will be allowed. * Prohibited items include but are not limited to: firearms/knives/pocket knives/concealable weapons; mace/pepper spray; coolers; alcoholic beverages; laser lights/laser pointers/strobe lights; fireworks/explosives; artificial noisemakers; inflatables (beach balls, etc.); balloons; and signs. * Guests are permitted to bring sealed bottles of water. All other food and beverages are prohibited. * The use of any tobacco product, electronic cigarettes, or vaps is prohibited on all District property, including but not limited to, school buildings, athletic facilities, District vehicles, and parking lots. The weather forecast will be monitored daily. In the event of rain or inclement weather, the scheduled graduation will be moved to the high school’s gymnasium. Due to capacity restrictions, only ticketed guests will be permitted into the gymnasium or auditorium. Tickets will be marked for entry. Congratulations to the Class of 2025!

Andrews High School is proud to announce the Class of 2025 Valedictorian and Salutatorian! Valedictorian: Alex Young. He is the son of Alan and Amy Young with future plans of enlisting in the United States Air Force. Salutatorian: Gracie Swinnie She is the daughter of Bobby and Terra Swinnie with future plans attending the University of South Carolina Congratulations to these outstanding Yellow Jackets! Reminder!! Class of 2025 Senior Awards will be held this evening at 6:00pm in our Auditorium. All Seniors will be recognized. Seniors, as a reminder there is a dress code for this event. The dress code is as follows: Dress Code Males: * White button up shirt or polo * Long black dress pants (no jeans, khakis or shorts) * Black tie * Black dress socks * Black Dress Shoes (no additional colors, tennis shoes etc) Dress Code Females: * White or Black dress. No spaghetti straps or strapless dresses. (school dress code requirements) *White dress shirt, black dress pants and black dress shoes. * Black, White or Nude shoes (no additional colors permitted)

AHS Pathway to Success Banquet Last week, the faculty and staff of AHS had an incredible evening celebrating the bright futures of our students at the Pathway to Success Banquet. This special event honored students who have demonstrated exceptional college and/or career readiness and received a letter recognizing their 4.0 GPA or higher. This is a new tradition we’re proud to begin here at AHS! Ms. Mahone even made sure to recognize some of our students who had baseball and softball games that evening and were unable to attend the banquet. A heartfelt thank you to all the parents who supported this banquet and continue to stand behind our students every step of the way. Your encouragement makes all the difference!
