📢🥎 It's that time again🥎📢 Softball season is upon us! If you are interested in playing softball, try outs will be held on the following dates and times. February 2nd at 3:45pm February 3rd at 3:45pm Tryouts will be held at the AHS Softball Field. You must have a current physical on file to tryout.

Good Morning Yellow Jackets!! Prom Ticket Sales begin today! ⏰ During Lunch Time ONLY with Ms. Skipper. 💵 CASH ONLY 🎟️ Ticket price is per attendee. 💰 ALL school fees must be paid prior to purchasing a ticket. This includes any fees in PowerSchool, any electronic device fees as well as Senior Fees. ‼️ If you would like to bring a guest that is not a student at AHS there is a guest form that must be completed and submitted. You can see Ms. Skipper to pick up this form.

Attention Yellow Jackets! These are the last seat time dates available for the first semester. If you received an FA on your report card here are your chances to make them up! Seat Time can be paid for during lunch time or between 3:30pm and 3:45pm ONLY! You must stay the entire time in order for the seat time to count.

‼️Reminder‼️ We will have our class ring ceremony this Thursday January 22nd at 6:00pm in the Auditorium. This is your Last Chance to sign up to participate. Please email Ms. Skipper at jskipper@gcsd.k12.sc.us if you would like to participate. For those who have confirmed to participate please give your ring to Ms. Skipper at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony.

All students will report to HIVE Time. Lunch will start at 11:45pm. I will make announcements. WiFi is out across the district. They are working to restore.

Georgetown County School District will host a Parent & Community Education Night in each attendance zone, with the first session taking place in Andrews. Andrews parents and community members are encouraged to attend, and all parents across the district are welcome.

This session will provide important information about youth vaping, the health risks associated with vaping, and current trends impacting students. Practical prevention strategies and resources available to parents and the community will be shared.

Join us for this important conversation as we work together to support healthy choices for our students. Additional education nights in other attendance zones will be announced soon.

We are pleased to invite you to participate in our 1st Virtual School Improvement Council (SIC) Meeting.
The SIC meeting is open to the community, and we respectfully request at least one representative from each faith-based organization, as well as community members, to attend. This one-hour meeting is intended to collaborate with community partners to strengthen our school and enhance student success.

As a reminder, students will return this Wednesday, January 7th.

We will host our 1st Semester Report Card Pick-Up / 2nd Semester Meet the Teacher on Thursday, January 8th from 5:00–7:00 PM.

During this time, you will be able to:
• Pick up your student’s report card
• Meet 2nd semester teachers
• Return any items due from 1st semester
• Pay any outstanding fees

This week is Final Exam week!! Review the schedule carefully. Do not be late for your exams. Also, if you fail to attend your scheduled exam period, you must submit a valid excuse to Dr. Mahone for permission to complete the makeup exam on Friday, Dec. 19th.
