💙✈️ BIG BLUE TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK 2026 RECAP ✈️💙
We hope all of our AMAZING GMS teachers at BIG BLUE enjoyed our week of “Preparing to TRAVEL” 🌎🧳💙
🍳 Monday morning, Mr. Branham and Mrs. Simmons helped get everyone fueled up with a wonderful breakfast to start the journey!
🧢 Tuesday, teachers had the opportunity to design their very own custom trucker hats and show a little personality and style.
🔌 Wednesday, everyone received chargers to help keep those devices powered up because we all know at BIG BLUE the batteries have been working overtime 😂
🌧️ Thursday, the car wash literally got washed out because of the rain, but we made a quick detour and turned Friday’s Hydration Station into Thursday Hydration instead 🥤💦
🌭 Friday, we wrapped it all up with a “Hot Dog, Hot Dog, Hot Diggy Dog” celebration… and NO, not the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse version 😂 Nachos, hotdogs, chips, and drinks helped us end the week on a dog gone good note! 🐶🌭

Important Information – Free Sports Physicals
Due to a large number of students attending free sports physicals today, we want to keep all parents informed.
We are working to ensure that all students are safely transported to GHS, complete their physicals, and return to GMS by 3:30 PM. However, if physicals run past 3:30 PM, we kindly ask for your patience.
Please note: For safety reasons, students will not be released to parents, guardians, or siblings at Georgetown High School. All students will be transported back to GMS, where they can be picked up.
Thank you for your understanding and support as we work to ensure the safety of all students.
