Waffle Day 🧇😂
Thank you, Mrs. Lloyd, for making sure we celebrated Waffle Day by treating our staff to waffles! 🧇💙
Now, Mrs. Duncan and Mrs. Seale said they shared a waffle… but I’m not sure that waffle ever saw both of them! 😂😂
The toppings looked so yummy!

🚨 THE TAB TAKEOVER IS REAL! 🚨
Quick backstory… 👀
Our Guidance Clerk, Jane V. Smith, was getting things ready for BIG’s Ronald McDonald House fundraiser, where we’re collecting tabs to help support this amazing cause.
As Jane was preparing, a student walked by and said, “I want to participate!”
That student was Rebecca Lambert—and BOY, DID SHE PARTICIPATE! 🙌🏽👏🏽
Rebecca has brought in the MOTHER LOAD of tabs! 🥫🔥 Talk about seeing a need and taking it to the next level!
And don’t be surprised… because THIS IS JUST HOW WE DO THINGS AT THE BLUE! 💙🐾
Keep those tabs rolling in! Every tab collected helps support the Ronald McDonald House and the families they serve.
WAY TO GO, REBECCA! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
BIG BLUE IS PROUD OF YOU! 💙🐾

BIG BLUE IS MAKING LEARNING AN ADVENTURE! 💙🐾🌎
Mrs. J. Cox has done it again! 🙌🏾 As always, that’s just how we do it at The Blue! 💙
And Mr. Barron took his Social Studies class UP A NOTCH with an exciting AMAZING RACE — Race Across the Americas! 🏃🏾♀️🌎🏃🏾♂️
Students traveled across North, Central, and South America as they explored countries, landforms, landmarks, and so much more—all while putting their knowledge, teamwork, and problem-solving skills to the test!
Who says learning can't be FUN?! 👏🏾
At BIG BLUE, we don’t just teach it—we EXPERIENCE it! 💙🐾

BIG BLUE LEADERS IN THE MAKING! 💙🐾
Today, Georgetown Middle School student-athletes had the opportunity to participate in the South Carolina High School League (SCHSL) Student Leadership Course!
This free leadership course is designed for student-athletes in grades 9–12 who are serving as fall team captains or are interested in becoming future leaders. And our Middle School made the list.
We are proud to celebrate our GMS student-athletes who were selected by Coach Barron to take part in this leadership opportunity. Their selection is a reflection of their character, commitment, teamwork, and potential to lead both on and off the field.
Congratulations, Bulldogs! 🐾💙

Message from Mrs. Harrington:
Hello Bulldog Family!
Please remember that Summer Reading is due FRIDAY 8/14/2026 by 3:30 pm. Your student's ELA teacher has an assignment on Google Classroom to upload digital submissions. If your student completes their assignment on paper, they can turn it in DURING CLASS TIME until 3:30 pm on Friday. This is a quiz grade, and late submissions will not be accepted.
Thank you!

BIG BLUE SPORTS — WE LIKE IT LIKE THAT! 🐾💙
Heyyyyyyyy babyyyyy! 😂💙 I LIKE IT LIKE THAT! I LIKE IT LIKE THAT!
We got Cross Country 🏃🏾♀️🏃🏾♂️
We got Tennis 🎾
We got Football 🏈
And we got Volleyball galore 🏐 — with plenty of things that come with a SCORE! 😜
But here’s what’s even MORE EXTRA about BIG BLUE… 💙
This is your shortcut to help get you where you need to go! All sports tied into ONE SPOT — whether it’s B-Team, JV, Varsity, or anything in between!
But don’t get it twisted now… 👀😂
Even though we LOVE Bulldog Land 🐾, this page is for BIG BLUE! So if it has anything to do with our 7th & 8th grade GMS students, you already KNOW we’re going to turn it up a tad bit higher! 🔥💙
And a MAJOR SHOUTOUT to Ms. Owens for submitting the information! 👏🏾👏🏾
She said, “I may keep up with who’s here, but I’m also keeping up with WHAT’S HAPPENING!” 👀🤣
That’s what we call TEAMWORK at its BEST! 💙🐾
Because around here, we don’t need 10 group chats, 4 screenshots, and somebody asking, “Wait… what time is the game?” 😂😂
ONE SPOT. ONE BIG BLUE. ONE BULLDOG FAMILY! 🐾💙🤍🩶
BIG BLUE YOU KNOW! 💙🐾
💙💙 BIG BLUE NEEDS YOU! 💙💙
